In recent years, cultural actors have been working to rehabilitate the female figure in museums. In France, this trend is accelerating, driven by the attention of the public, the media and the support of the Ministry for Culture.
This round table, proposed by AWARE, will be an opportunity to come back on these recent advances towards greater equity, to question the means and methods used to revise the historical canons and to deconstruct the gendered biases of professional practices, as well as to evaluate the first results, through shared experience of professionals.
