The Regional Visual Arts Inspectorate of the Créteil school district and AWARE are pleased to invite you to a webinar presenting the Educational Booklet: Women Artists – Pathways and Proposals for Diversifying the Teaching of Visual Arts (Livret pédagogique – Pistes et propositions pour diversifier l’enseignement des arts plastiques, publication in French).

The session will introduce this resource designed for middle and high school teachers, developed as part of a collaboration initiated in 2023 between AWARE and the Académie de Créteil (administrative district of the Ministry of National Education, France).  Members of the working group behind the booklet will share insights into its context of development, the methodology employed, and potential uses.

Offering an interpretation of the visual arts curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education, the booklet aims to foster a more inclusive and diversified cultural history by highlighting works by women and non-binary artists from around the world. It is available for free download on the AWARE website.
